Lorna Shore has scaled unexpected heights, played to the biggest crowds of their career and literally walked through fire to arrive at 'I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me'. This New Jersey quintet's latest album picks up where they left off on the now classic 'Pain Remains'. While the album's first single, 'Oblivion' is classic Lorna Shore, it's with the likes of the anthemic 'Unbreakable', the pathos-driven 'Glenwood' or the triumphant guitar melodies of 'Lionheart' that you can hear the sound of extreme metal pushing through it's own boundaries, informed by topping huge festivals and bashing through arenas with the likes of Gojira and Mastodon. Lorna Shore's ascent has been nothing short of breathtaking and 'I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me' is nothing short of their career defining album. Album Tracks 1. Prison of Flesh 2. Oblivion 3. In Darkness 4. Unbreakable 5. Glenwood 1. Lionheart 2. Death Can Take Me 3. War Machine 4. Nameless Hymn 5. Forevermore

Double colored vinyl LP pressing housed in gatefold jacket. 2022 . Pain Remains is the sound of a band that has honed their sound and identity. From the opening choral chants and orchestration (composed by guitarist Andrew O'Connor) of 'Welcome Back, O' Sleeping Dreamer' straight into labyrinth of musical twists, turns, technicalities and raw emotion at the core of tracks like 'Sun Eater' or 'Soulless Existence' and culminating in the 'Pain Remains'-trilogy, Lorna Shore has woven together a sprawling document of ambition, soul and ability that few can match. It also is the sound of Lorna Shore breaking out of any sort of categorization and stepping into their own as a great extreme metal band. With 'Pain Remains', Lorna Shore has truly arrived. 'That's been the idea and the vision for the band for years,' states Adam. 'We've never wanted to be limited or meet someone's expectations of what we're supposed to be.'
