Los Cenzontles - Regeneration - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

'Raza de Oro' is a collection of Mexican roots music in tribute to the legacy of Mexican American culture. Guest artists David Hidalgo and Ry Cooder!

Diamond Head was one of the more famous and successful bands of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and 'Borrowed Time' is one of the all-time classic albums from the NWOBHM era. The album's opener, InchIn The Heat Of The NightInch, and InchCall MeInch are both power ballads, strongly signifying the band's approach to a more mainstream sound. Sean Harris portrays a vivid picture with his soul searching vocals and guitarist Brian Tatler adds great solos and rhythms to the songs. InchTo Heaven From HellInch is probably the closest song Diamond Head ever made to InchAm I Evil?Inch released in 1984 as B-side to Metallica's InchCreeping Death.Inch The two epics, InchDon't You Ever Leave MeInch and the title track really fulfill the album's purpose with the most progressive sound.

Recorded with candor, humor and fits of inspiration, Songs of Wood & Steel is a Mexican American family album featuring musicians of different generations, languages and musical backgrounds. The material includes popular songs, original tunes, little-known Mexican traditions and spur-of-the-moment jams. The breadth of Mexican American music is deep and wide and expresses the poetry and chaos of our culture. In addition to the collaboration with David Hidalgo throughout the recording, the album includes guest appearances by Linda Ronstadt, Pete Sears, Julian Gonzalez, and the Estrada Brothers.
