About this product
Early Days (2016-2019) is a new collection of previously unreleased songs dating to the singer and songwriter's teen years. A prolific songwriter from a young age, Tapia spent his teenage years writing and recording song after song in his parents' living room, using little more than a guitar and an old four-track recorder. In 2019, Stones Throw released what would become Los Retros' breakout single InchSomeone to Spend Time WithInch a viral hit that has since been certified Gold. While the track and subsequent EPs Retrospect and Looking Back introduced millions to Los Retros' dreamy, lo-fi sound, a huge amount of music from that formative era has been unheard - until now.

Odisea, Los Retros' highly anticipated debut album, aims to emulate the iconic City Pop sound of the 1980s. A more articulate musical endeavour from the young singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Tapia first captured hearts with the lo-fi magic of InchSomeone To Spend Time WithInch, a track he recorded at the age of 17 on a humble four-track in his parents' living room. Now 25, the Oxnard native has stepped into an entirely new season of life.Through it all, he's kept the same DIY spirit, still writing and recording every note himself, only now in a home studio of his own.
