Lost In "The First Perfect CD Of 2008"
I listened to Lost In The Sound Of Separation in its entirety on Underoath's myspace page and the album picks up where they left off with their previous album, Define The Great Line. Underoath's music is unlike anything that you have ever heard before. This album is light years ahead of any other album from a screamo, metal, alternative, hardcore, or any other band in any related genre or sub-genre. Underoath sets themselves apart not just with their music and their blistering live shows, but through their passion, love, and how they stand for what they believe in. The instrumentation, arrangements, and musicianship are outstanding, the lyrics are easy to relate to, and the intense emotion that comes through in the voices of singers Spencer Chamberlain and Aaron Gillespie is unmatched. Underoath will elevate you to a higher place and to higher standards of music.
