Add scraping sounds and patterns to your percussive repertoire with this afuche/cabasa that features loops of steel bead chain wrapped around a stainless-steel cylinder.

The LP Fiber Maracas deliver bright, articulate rhythm with a durable design tailored for modern percussion performance. Sold in matched pairs, these maracas feature a steel-ball fill that produces a crisp, loud response, making them ideal for cutting through mixes in live performances, studio recordings, and ensemble settings. The round plastic shells are designed to support classic swirling techniques, allowing players to create smooth, continuous rhythmic textures by rotating the maracas in a circular motion. Ergonomic wood handles provide a comfortable, secure grip for precise control and extended play, enhancing both accuracy and ease of use. With compact dimensions of 2.4" x 5.5" x 2.9", these maracas are easy to handle while still delivering a strong, defined sound, making them a versatile addition to any percussion setup across a wide range of musical styles.

The LP Mini Afuche/Cabasa is a compact percussion instrument designed to create rhythmic scraping and shaking sounds for a variety of musical settings. It features steel bead loops wrapped around a textured cylinder with a lightweight plastic frame and handle for comfortable playing and easier control. The 2-3/4” diameter size produces a softer volume that works well for low volume performances, rehearsals, classrooms, and home practice sessions. Players can rotate the beads, spin the instrument, or shake it to create different rhythmic textures and percussion effects for Latin music, acoustic performances, rhythm accompaniment, and general percussion use.
