Q: Can you play as different character's ?
A: You play in the game as the main character Luigi, when you need help, you can also call on Gooigi. Gooigi is his ectoplasmic doppleganger.
Q: How durable is the standard games? I'm trying to decide which is better, digital or physical?
A: The Nintendo Switch cartridges are very durable -- moreso than you conventional CD-ROM even. The cases they come in are so oversized, I'd recommend getting a case to hold all your games though. Digital would, of course, save you physical space and easy to keep -- but then you have to consider how much digital space is available on your Switch to store all your games --- it can fill up pretty quickly. While you can move games to an external SD Card for storage, you have to move it onto the console's internal memory to actually play and the larger games can take a while to move. Personally, I prefer the physical still.
Q: Can a 4/5 yr old play this or is there to much strategy involved?
A: I would say no. Too much small detail, probably too slow-paced. Maybe 8+?
Q: Can you play this game with a separate controller?
A: Yes it can be played with a separate controller.
Q: How's the online multiplayer option for this game? Is it worth it?
A: When you play in one player mode you have to switch back and forth between Lougi and Gooigi. It's way easier to play in 2 player mode but the second player doesn't have as much to do.
A: Two players can play on one Switch with one game copy.
