About this product

The Lusitania was formed in 2005 by brothers Michael and Blake Duncan. The band went through a few line up changes before coming to their current cast of Charles Berry, Adi Kanlic, and the latest member, Will Daugherty, along with the brothers. An auxiliary horn section containing two trumpets and an alto saxophone has been added to the live performance on occasion. The band has toured the Southwest consistently since 2008 Covering the region from Phoenix to Houston and as far north as Ft. Collins Colorado. Many times hitting the same cities up to 3 times a year. They have shared the road with bands such as Lucero, Sleepercar, the Thriftstore Cowboys, and the Royalty. The Lusitania has shared the stage with Deer Tick, Jim Ward, Crystal Antlers, Mason Jennings, Lucero, the Thriftstore Cowboys, the Royalty, Zech's Marquise, the Orbans, and Drag the River in the past year to name a few. As far as releases, the guys have put out an eight song self-titled ep on their own along with a 7Inch vinyl split with Buckeye (another El Paso Native) on the indie tag Leatherfist Records. The band has just released their first full length professional studio album (Clap of Thunder Studios, El Paso, TX) in early October, 2010. The album is titled, InchRain and RiversInch and was released on Civil Defense League Records. This latest is the one the band hopes to push in order to build a loyal following across the US. The record has the support of Jim Ward in both the tag and production aspect, and involved groups such as Tembloroso Creative Lab, and Viva Creative Group. They are determined to tour tirelessly the remainder of 2010 and into 2011 with the plan to record a follow up record. Album Tracks 1. Bottle Neck Blues 2. A Line in the Sand 3.
