The Diver by Lyonel Bauchet is a concept album in that it alludes to an undersea world many of us will never visit. The five tracks segue into a seamless piece of audio that explore the hidden vistas and dark spaces of the deep sea. Utilizing his vast musical experience Bauchet has created an astonishing sound world that ebbs and flows like the ocean currents. His use of the Buchla modular synth is evident with beautiful Vangelis like lead tones. Underneath the sequencer patterns and restrained percussion bubble & roil building to subtle climaxes before descending back in to the dark depths. Dive in to the sonic undersea world of Lyonel Bauchet and lose yourself in this stunning album.

On his debut Navona Records InchVoyageInch, composer Pierre Schroeder presents a captivating sonic journey that takes listeners on winding highways, through arid and spacious deserts, along the shores of crashing waves, into desolate and snow-covered lands, through episodes of adventures, mishaps, discoveries, and losses. The 11-piece adventure uses a variety of musical styles, including jazz, blues, and folk idioms, while still grounded in classical form. Pierre, a French native, came to music as a child, transcribing themes from Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota and other movie composers on the family's piano. Emotions are in the center of his work, and reviewers have often noted cinematic elements in his music.
