The MacBook Pro 16” with the M1 Max chip is an absolute beast when it comes to performance. It handles everything I throw at it—from intensive video editing to running multiple demanding applications—without breaking a sweat. The 32GB of memory and 1TB SSD ensure smooth multitasking and lightning-fast storage access. The display is stunning, with vibrant colors and incredible brightness. The ProMotion technology makes everything feel buttery smooth, and the speakers are some of the best I’ve heard on a laptop. Battery life is also impressive, lasting me through long work sessions without needing a charge. However, the reason for four stars instead of five is the price. While you get top-tier performance, the premium cost might not be justified for everyone unless you need this level of power. Also, it’s a bit heavier than I expected, which can make it less ideal for frequent travel. Overall, if you need a machine for professional-level tasks and can justify the investment, the MacBook Pro 16” is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared to pay for the performance.

This MacBook is amazingly fast. Editing multiple 4K timeline projects is a breeze in DaVinci Resolve. I came from a 13” M1 MBP and this screen real estate & XDR display hands down gave me a better experience. It’s nice not having to be next to an outlet while completing projects. The battery performs amazingly well while editing and crazy when just utilizing it for normal use. Only gripe I have was how poorly Bestbuy packaged this. There was one 8 part air pack in a box way to large. There were indication of it being dropped which am lucky Apple does a great job boxing it’s products.

i use this computer for everything! i am a graphic designer and when i tell you this computer has horse power it really does. i can use all Adobe programs, including 3D programs such as Blender & Rhino. i’ve been using this computer for the past 6 months, and as a design students it’s been working through programs like Adobe Aftereffects like nothing. I haven’t even heard the fans kick in once. Highly recommend this for any designers out there, as i have enough RAM to keep programs from closing and so much storage to last a long long time, especially since i offload into an external hard drive. this is my experience coming from using a Macbook Air 2017 model.
