Madilyn Paige - Anymore - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Not for the first time in the past 20 years, Helloween have proved courage and musical vision. Declared dead repeatedly by the critics, the German melodic metal act continue to be at the top of the international metal scene at the beginning of the third decade of their existence, having repeatedly reinvented themselves stylistically without ever losing their typical trademarks. The musicians, Andi Deris (vocals), Michael Weikath (guitar), Markus Grobkopf (bass), Sascha Gerstner (guitar) and new addition Dani Loble (drums, ex-Rawhead Rexx), see their latest recording, Keeper of the Seven Keys, the Legacy, in direct context with their 1987 and 1988 classics, consciously and confidently increasing the expectations of their fans of an doubtless unusual studio offering. This limited edition double CD set is packaged in a digipak. LE. 2005.

2015 debut EP features a set of tunes notable for their raw emotion and beautiful soundscapes. Madilyn wrote or co-wrote every song on the , drawing from her own struggles as a teenager and her heartfelt expressions of the joy she finds in life. The first track, 'Irreplaceable,' begins with aching introspection and soars to an assurance of self-worth; the following track, 'Foolish Game,' was written right after Madilyn left the TV show the Voice and gives insight into the inevitability of discouragement in life and the realization that you can rise above the games that people play. An epic movie score string section combines with powerful rhythms on 'Undercover,' a breathtaking song about overcoming sadness and seeking the light all around you. The final track, 'Little Things,' playfully reminds US that the little things in life are the source of true joy.
