I was a bit skeptical to get the cooler because it was so cheap and other reviews were mixed but it has worked fantastically. I've only had it a month but it has worked great and cools exactly to the temperature it is set at and adjusts quickly when the temperature is changed. The large capacity is great. Lighting is nice too with the glass front. It arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. I'm glad I went with this cooler.

After a bad experience with a different manufacturer where the poor design would not accept anything other than the smallest diameter wine bottles, we have been very happy with the design of our Magic Chef. Can handle all standard bottles, appears to be maintaining the temperature, and is very quiet. Strongly recommended

Perfect size to hold 28 bottles of wine. Outside the door displays the temp for red or white wines. Also has light so you can pick the bottle of wine. Very happy and the cost was great.

I already wrote a review for this but it was not tied to my account so I am writing another. I like this wine cooler. It works well and is quiet. The wine cooler maintains a steady 54°- 55° temperature even when it is 95°+ in my apartment. I do not recommend this as a beer cooler, unless you are storing Belgium beers and want them at the temps you will find in Europe. Downsides: You will not be able to get 28 bottles in the cooler unless they are all Bordeaux style. You will have to take out a shelf to store sparkling or chardonny style bottles.

My wife had three smaller size wine coolers and we bought this one to consolidate into one cooler. It is working fine, and it fits perfectly in our kitchen.

It holds 28 wines without any problem, which all of my wines are in standard size. It's quiet and works perfectly.

Smaller unit for those who don't need more than 20 bottles of wine chilling at the same time!

Plugged in unit, set temperature at 55 and waited two days for the unit to reach stable temperature. Temperature gauge kept dropping, finally stabilizing at 49. Called Magic Chef and arranged for a technician to replace thermostat. After replacement of the thermostat, the reading immediately went to 55 and has stayed there.

So far so good. Keeps things cold. Just wish the shelves were alittle more sturdy

This is an attractive and nice sized cooler. It arrived in a relatively short amount of time with no damage to the unit. The unit is quiet, maintains steady temperature and works as expected. I am giving this product 4 stars because it is a 28 bottle cooler given a particular set of conditions. First all this unit's best shot at accommodating 28 bottles exists when you have all Bordeaux type bottles. If you want to add Pinot Noir or Champagne bottles you have to take out a shelf. Also, even if you store only Bordeaux type bottles you may only get 24 bottles in because the fan unit prevents a bottle from going all the way back in the rack. Bottomline, you can store reliably 20-24 bottles. Even so that is good capacity. I would definitely buy this cooler again.
