Magik Magik - Magic*Magic - VINYL LP

Hailing from the rural outskirts of Baltimore, consisting of founder, Dresden Boulden on Guitar and Vocals, Triston Grove on Bass, and Jason Kendall on Drums. Magick Potion is a hard hitting heavy rock trio channeling the raw energy and heavy grooves of the late 60's and early 70's. Clearly hooked on the likes of underrated groups such as Blue Cheer, The Amboy Dukes and Budgie, the band crafts a sound that fuse's heavy rock's gritty ri?s with contrasting moments boarding on psychedelia. With roaring guitars, thunderous drums and hard driving bass lines Magick Potion conjures a vibe that is both nostalgic yet contemporary and original. Their music is a bridge to an era where rock was rebellious, loud and unfiltered, yet they infuse it with a spirit all their own. Their self titled debut will be out on RidingEasy Records world wide on November 22, 2024. Catch them on the road in the USA this fall and spring 2025. Album Tracks 1. Side A Fever Dream 2. The Magik Sounds of The Pine Hill Haints (KLP254), ventures softly into the cool, dark whisper of the haunted south. Short, tight spun rhymes about silver quarters and vampires come from a late evening session in a small pink house in south Alabama, located next to an old Native American mound of shells and bones, recorded at low volume with red eyes and open windows. This is the 4th Halloween dance party long player the Haints have cut for K. Album Tracks 1. Mrs Pac-Man 2. Galaxy Buffalo 3. Rattle Them Bones 4. Villain Vs the Kid 5. Shattered Waltz 6. Blow 7. Here we are in 2020, exploding like a dream. Processing today's numbed nation, considering mysteries of growing up and being older (like a memory of the future from your youth (not how you expected, but still your life)), Magik Markers rub upon their roots, art-noise jamming their way into non-linear song-sense and raw, beautiful music all at once.1.
