The musicians are talented with Years of experience ranging from 6-18 years. If you like your metal Fast, Brutal and Diverse...this music is for you. Read the Bio Below Salt Lake City, Early 1992. Malignant Inception was formed by Ed Price, Steve Lea and Chad Kasimatis. Soon after, Dave Jelsma was recruited for Bass Guitar. Through the years Malignant Inception has gone through many lineup changes. In 1995, after going in the studio and being dissatisfied with the outcome, MI removed Steve Lea from drums and recruited Tim Riley. With Chad now singing, Ed playing guitar, Tim on drums and Dave on bass, MI started re-writing the old and writing the new. A year and a half later they went into the studio to record their 11 song debut album entitled 'Black Death' and released it in early 1997 on Cassette through Slaughterhouse Records. It was distributed and sold worldwide to an enthusiastic response. With that done, Malignant Inception's imprint on the world was made. Unfortunately, that album was not given the publicity push it deserved and shortly after, Malignant Inception once again went into hiatus. During this period MI tried to start back up again recruiting a second guitarist Mike Kimball from local band Disordered. But after 4 new songs completed Tim Riley left the band; the songs never reached a studio. (Mike Kimball Was recruited by Dying Fetus) Members went to school and self study. (Black Death was re-released on CD with updated cover art in 2004.) It's early spring, 2003. Ed and Dave are discussing how their musical tastes have changed over the years and want to start up Malignant Inception again only this time pioneering a sound that no one can touch; incorporating the

Defiance - Product Of Society - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

'Product Of Society' is the debut full-length studio album by San Francisco thrash metal act Defiance. The album was released in February 1989 through Roadrunner Records and was produced by Annihilator's Jeff Waters and it managed to attract a lot of attention in the thrash community. It's an example of great thrash, with musical leaders not followers and shows how great the Bay Area scene was. If you're looking for something which thrashes hard with enough technicality to take it beyond the scope of bog standard thrash, then 'Product of Society' is a good place to start. Catchy riffing, enjoyable and skillfully played solos and accurate drumming shines in every song. If you like bands from the Bay-Area such as Testament, Vio-Lence or Death Angel you'll enjoy this album.
