An exceptional-sounding record, it showed the band utilizing the recording studio to full advantage at the time, while marking a new phase for Manfred Mann as he assembled a band musically superior to other British hard rock and blues influenced groups of the early seventies. While still a couple years away from pop radio success, most notably their version of Blinded By The Light, the Earth Band's debut wad a solid foundation to a career that continues to this day. Manufactured on heavy duty vinyl and remastered, the album is being released under the InchArtist ApprovedInch banner, i.e. it is issued with the full approval of the featured artists.
