Manticora - To Kill To Live To Kill - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2020 from Danish thrash/power metallers Manticora. To Kill to Live to Kill is the first part of another Manticora concept double-album, that will be released as two separate albums, one year apart. It´s based on the horror novel that was written by the lead singer, Lars F. Larsen, and the artwork resembles the stories of the novel. The music was recorded and mixed in Hansen Studios, with World-famous producer, Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Destruction) who also produced the first two Manticora albums back in the last millenium, and vocals were recorded with Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse studios (Helloween, Beyond Twilight, Jorn). Tommy has previously produced five albums for the band.

Shostakovitch / Boreyko / Roadiosinfonie - Sym 5 [COMPACT DISCS] date 08/12/2014

Thrash, prog, power, black, death, pure heavy metal and everything else your metal heart desires, all rolled into one album, is what Manticora is all about. The band, who started out in 1997 (nine albums ago) as a power metal outfit, has transformed and thereby developed their own unique style of heavy metal. They are a melting pot of everything you want to hear as a genuine metal fan. Welcome to InchMyceliumInch. After their grandiose, critically acclaimed, two-album concept from 2018/2020, plus a 334-page novel (written by the band's singer Lars F. Larsen) which the albums were based on, the Danes have Inchscaled downInch a bit and written another majestic concept album. This time only spanning a total running time of 48-minutes. InchMyceliumInch, the new opus, is less symphonic and takes an angrier, more raw approach, with aggression as it's main focus.
