I connected the AMP 30 to a Cinema 70s A/V receiver, and it serves as the perfect complement for creating a more immersive, crisper, and more powerful sound. I’m really enjoying the Marantz AMP 30. I paired it with my Marantz Cinema 40 and Sonus faber Sonetto VIII G2 fronts and Sonetto Center G2, and it made a noticeable difference right away. I’m also bi-amping my front LCR, which are 4-ohm speakers, and the AMP 30 has sounded smooth, controlled, and effortless. Before adding the AMP 30, my Cinema 40 could sound a little harsh with my Sonus faber speakers at peak volumes. Now it sounds silky smooth, even when I turn it up. Music has better detail and separation, and movies have more impact and control. It really feels like it elevated my Cinema 40 for both music and home theater. Very happy with the purchase so far.
