[Employee of bestbuy] Ill first start this review by stating I am quite the audiophile currently running a 9.2.4 system. I replaced my denon x6300h which at the time was the best receiver I had personally ever heard… until I installed this. Blew me away in almost every aspect. Its nothing something you can even put into words how good everything sounds. If you are contemplating this do not hesitate. I will note this unit is several inches deeper than standard receiver so be mindful for certain installs.

I'm still in the process of learning the Cinema 30. This item has quite a few features. Once connections are made, the simplicity in operating is straight forward and quick. The sounds are crisp and honors high fidelity at it's best. I am very proud to own such craftsmanship! As stated earlier, I still have a ways to go. Sometimes I may want to just listen to music without the television. I may or may not be able to champion. At the moment, I believe this item has to be linked to your TV (as one) for creating the home gateway. It has immense power you can not shy away from just turning that dial! Later, could be a much higher rating.

Marantz cinema 30 pure power very happy with this AV receiver.

Great and capable receiver with that Marantz warmth and clarity of sound. The Marantz on-screen setup process was easy and very convenient. Downloading the Audussey app is a must for getting the speaker calibration right. It allows you to adjust the sound in 100s of ways instead of about 10, so you can dial everything in for your speakers and how you like things to sound. Reviewers complain about how hot the unit runs but I find it runs much cooler than the Onkyo receiver it replaced. The Marantz has built in cooling fans, so do not let this deter you from this unit. My only complaint is I wish the porthole display on the front was bigger so it is easier to read from the couch. Other than that it is great!

Very pleased so far. It has a lot of power and available adjustments. I haven't even had a chance to read and understand them all. So there is a lot of fun coming as I learn them. If I had one complaints, it's because 11 channel amplification and to use the full 13 you need another amp? Why couldn't they just ad 2 more amps or give you the opportunity for more speakers if you need to add amps anyways? I will add a new amp for the LCR in the future upgrade to utilize the full 13 channels

I upgraded from a Denon 4300H I bought back in 2018 thinking I would notice a reasonable difference. Let me tell you even with all the great things I had read about the Cinema 30 it couldn’t have prepared me for how much I’d love this receiver! It is absolutely glorious! Such a warm, distinctly clear and detailed sound, dramatic improvement over my last AVR! Is a little pricey, but well worth it!

I love this receiver! It has everything 8K, 120Hz gaming a dedicated phono input for my turntable and most importantly more than enough power for my speakers. I planning to have it calibrated using Dirac to make it come alive!

This avr has delivered everything I expected based on my research. Tighter bass, wider sound stage, plus I love Heos app and how I can controll all zones at once with ease.

Huge improvement in sound and clarity. Very please with this purchase. Choice was between Cinema 30 and 40, to our ears the 30 was noticeably better and worth the extra money.

I bought this to replace my Yamaha RX-3010 due to wanting better video quality as the 3010 is older and only supports 1080. I also wanted to go from a 9.2 system to a 11.2 layout. I assumed because I had heard so much about Marantz that musicaly it would be a much better amp. Setup was straight forward, the amp itself is beautiful. The video looks great. The audio, while "warm" sounds muddy, even in pure direct mode. The sounds kind of fuzz together at the edges. In comparison the Yamaha sounded crystal with a clarity that would let you hear a pin drop in a concert in pure direct mode. I am runnning really good speakers (Infinity Kappa 9's) so I know it's not them. I guess some people like that sound and that's okay but I would rather have something that lets me hear every single detail. I guess I'm going for the Yamaha RX-A8A instead. I also didn't like that you had to sign away you privacy rights if you want to access a share from your own network. I believe they said they make a record of what you listen to/watch. I'm not okay with that. Yamaha didn't do that. So, it's not a bad amp, just not for me. There may be some people who are very happy with it.

I love it, it has excellent sound. I recommend it. The sound in movies is the best. I bought it in golden gray because I like that color and it looks good.
