Marc-Andre Hamelin - C.P.E Bach: Sonatas & Rondos - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Bella Union are thrilled to announce the of Jem, the debut album from hotly-tipped Manchester-based electronic-pop duo BERNARD + EDITH, on 11th May. Already firmly established within the city's underground music scene, Greta 'Edith' Carroll and Nick 'Bernard' Delap draw on influences ranging from Fever Ray to Portishead via Cocteau Twins, David Lynch, Kate Bush and Japan to create the most deliciously dark art-pop/soul.

The music of CPE Bach makes complex stylistic demands of the performer like little else of it's time, the extraordinary drama and intensity tempered by Enlightenment elegance and the influence of the Baroque. Marc-André Hamelin's performances set new standards in this endlessly absorbing repertoire. Album Tracks 1. Sonata in a Minor, H. 247 I. Allegro 2. Sonata in a Minor, H. 247 II. Andante 3.
