La-La Land Records, Lionsgate and Pianella Music present acclaimed composer Marco Beltrami's (FORD v FERRARI, SCREAM, 3 10 TO YUMA) original motion picture score to the all-new, big screen action drama SILENT NIGHT, directed by John Woo and starring Joel Kinnaman. Legendary action director John Woo returns to the big-screen with a unique and bold cinematic experiment in SILENT NIGHT, a virtually dialog-free action film. Composer Marco Beltrami answers this challenge in riveting fashion - with an inventive, immersive original score that brilliantly serves as the film's core Inchvoice,Inch communicating the characters' highly-charged emotions and thoughts, while expertly supporting all the pulse-pounding action and deep pathos.

Reissue. To hear Sheila Chandra's work is to realise that the voice is the purest expression of human emotion; the closest instrumental connection to our bodies. The compositions on The Zen Kiss have an added poignance when encountered today. They are both a snapshot of an innovative singer at her highest performative power, as well as a record of an ineffable sound that has yet to be replicated, and likely never will. When we drop the needle on The Zen Kiss we reach ever-closer to that special moment of Chandra giving voice to her innermost music, to her communion between the singer and those of us being sung to. This reissue features updated artwork and new sleeve notes.
