Dvorak's 9th symphony paints the town red, for sure. But that's not all! The strings of Andras Keller are able to blossom like flowers. They don't play uniformly but with a seemingly congenital naturalness as if it were easy for 14 violins to sound as homogenously and at the same time as individually as a single violin. Also for the wind it is not the high performance that counts but the sensitivity and the flowing of the music, e. g. The English horn solo in the second movement. The brass no power play but rich and gentle, always sensitive chords. - The tempi, the transitions, everything flows organically and invites you to go along. That is the great art of legato. Old-fashioned to some people, in fact timeless beautiful. No surprise that one role model for Andras Keller is Wilhelm Furtwangler. After that and without any showing off the loved by many cellist Miklos Perenyi gently carries you off into the mysterious world of the rondo op 68/8 and InchKlidInch (silent wood) op. 95. Three slavonic dances from op. 46 round off the program. The (InchKlassik-heuteInch) recommendation of Guido Krawinkel in the latest review of another TACET recording was Inch... Keep your eyes and listen.Inch That's what we suggest here also.

There are many talented musicians in the world, but only very few that special something. Marco Marconi is one of these few - from the moment the Italian's hands touch the keys, he moves into his own stream of jazz consciousness, taking the listener with him into the special world. A rising star in the jazz world, classically trained Marco was invited to make a solo recording in the Fazioli Concert Hall near Venice. Fast becoming the top Piano maker in the world, 'Fazioli Pianoforte' constructed a special building complete with the latest acoustic features with it's own Fazioli Grand piano - an F278 - a perfect for concerts and recordings. ; These ten tracks album reveal a master at work - a veritable 'tour de force'. from the Latin groove and swing of 'Caravan', Marco Marconi's haunting original 'Philanthropy', to the gentle softness of 'What a Wonderful World' to the blistering rendition of the classic 'Take Five- it's all there. A brilliant listening experience.
