The performance is entrusted to the rare technical and expressive abilities of Alessandro Deljavan, a multi-award-winning top performer of the current international piano scene. Deljavan began studying the piano when he was only two years old, and after receiving a degree from the Conservatory of Milan, Italy, he was selected for the prestigious Lake Como International Piano Association where he studied with William Grant Nabore, Dimitri Bashkirov, Laurent Boullet, and others. His prizes include 5th place at the 2005 Gina Bachauer International Young Artists Competition, and 2nd prize at the 2010 Isang Yun Competition, South Korea.

Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album. It was released on August 31, 1987, nearly five years after Jackson's previous studio album, Thriller. Bad was recorded during the first half of 1987.
