About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. After eight albums, Maria Rodés' talent has been made absolutely clear on numerous occasions. But InchFuimos Los DosInch is a special album, and not just because it's her first solo album with Elefant Records (after that wonder she shared with La Estrella de David titled InchContigoInch). We are probably looking at her most intimate work, where she combines singer-songwriting, Latin American folklore and sonic experimentation to express her vision of the end of romantic relationships. It is an absolute delight, and her marvelous voice dances between minute, delicate, exquisite arrangements. The album is produced hand in hand with Joel Condal, and also includes guitars and charango (a small Andean string instrument) by Isabelle Laudenbach and Marina Tomás, and cello by Marta Roma, who weave a blanket of arrangements that intertwine and hold together the story of this break-up from beginning to end. Album Tracks 1. Recordarte 2. Prefiero No Decir Nada 3. Algo Que Pudo Ser 4. Salgamos Juntos Al Jardín 5. Fuimos los Dos 6. Se Nos Fue la Luz 7. Soltar Las Armas 8. Te Voy a Querer Igual 9. La Verdad 10. Oasis 11. Ay Soledad 12. Siempre Es Domingo 13. Madame Bovary

Limited 180gm audiophile vinyl LP repressing of this classic album by the Southern rock legends. Though the Southern rock genre existed before and after Lynyrd Skynyrd, no other band personified the lifestyle quite like this motley crew. Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote the book on Southern rock with their first album, so it only made sense that they followed it for their second album, aptly titled Second Helping. Released in 1974, the group turned out a record that replicated all the strengths of the original, but was a little tighter and a little more professional. This album featured the band's biggest hit single, InchSweet Home AlabamaInch and reached #12 on the Billboard album charts. Album Tracks 1. Sweet Home Alabama 2. I Need You 3. Don't Ask Me No Questions 4. Workin' for MCA 1. The Ballad of Curtis Loew 2. Swamp Music 3. The Needle and the Spoon 4. Call Me the Breeze
