Marilyn Nonken - Triadic Memories - DVD AUDIO [DVD-Audio]

Fiddlehead begins a new era with Baby I'll Change, a three song EP due out this summer on Run For Cover Records. After a trio of genre-defining & emotionally-driven albums adored by fans closed with 2023's opus Death is Nothing to Us, many wondered what was next for the Boston band - including Fiddlehead themselves. They headed to North Carolina to record with producer Alex Farrar (MJ Lenderman, Snail Mail, Hotline TNT) with a few ideas that ended up shaping into their latest - a fully formed and captivating collection of songs that are among Fiddlehead's best so far.

San Francisco native, Athena Tergis, has played fiddle nearly all her life. Winning the National Scottish Fiddling Championship in Virginia at age 11, she later turned her bow to the traditional music of Ireland. In collaborations with Laura Risk and Harry Bradley, in appearances with the Sharon Shannon band, and as the principal fiddler in Riverdance Broadway, Athena has distinguished herself as a musician of great scope, with influences ranging from Celtic traditional to jazz. A LETTER HOME is Athena's solo debut and features musical contributions from Liz Carroll, John Doyle, Natalie Haas, Chico Huff, Billy McComiske, Sharon Shannon and Ben Wittman.
