A: these are very tiny. i use them as rear speakers. the quality is good. the store advisor said that martin logan's were better for music than the kef's. i believe him. i mainly listen to tv theater. not sure that these small ones would give you the full sound of your previous larger ones. good luck. there is a listening room in simi valley. hope there is one near to you, so you can listen to them and decide for yourself. ps i haven't listened to vinyl in ages. so sorry not more help.
