I’m running these for my front and rear Atmos height speakers, love the sound these produce, especially the folded motion tweeters(very clear without being harsh) Great price per performance!

Recently my wife and I moved to a condo and my room for listening got a lot smaller. The Motion 2 was purchased as a surround speaker and although it’s quite a bit smaller to my setup previously, it does the job!

I use these as my two rear speakers in an Atmos setup. They provide great sound and have allowed me to hear parts of movies and shows that I was missing previously with my old speakers. They are a perfect combination of size, price and performance. I will continue to buy only MartinLogan speakers in the future.

I believe Martin Logan refers to this speaker as a Motion 2 i . I bought a pair as rear speakers to convert my audio system to 5.1 . I needed to place the speakers on a five inch wide ledge just in back of my listening area. These can be placed either standing or on their side if placed above the listening area. They delivered very good results as rear speakers connected to my Marantz receiver via a Rocketfish transmitter and receiver located in the rear of my den. I have to think that results would have been even better if the rear speakers were speaker wire connected directly to the Marantz receiver. But unfortunately not an option. After an initial break in period of a few days they still deliver noticeable surround sound effects especially during movies and are quite acceptable too for hearing music. I highly recommend the ML Motion 2i as rear speakers.

The Magnolia guy at the store demonstrated these for me. They sounded so good and are not small, so very convenient if need bookshelf speakers. Got them on sale so I'm not sure I would pay full price for these. Great quality and sound.

Unfamiliar with the brand until recommended by a Best Buy associate and listening to them in the Magnolia Home Theater area. Was looking for some simple shelf speakers to augment current ones. The quality in range of sound and style made it easier to spend double than intended. The speakers really capture all ranges, especially those at the higher end of the spectrum, making the vocals more enjoyable.

I had a older mirage nanosat speaker system With newer Pioneer elite Dolby Atmos front speakers that sounds great to this day. I decided to upgrade my home theater speaker system. I purchased the Martin Logan subwoofer and center channel and added them to my system and wow! what a difference they made. So I decided to replace my rear mirage speakers with the Martin Logan bookshelf speakers. All I have to say is Martin Logan speakers sound amazing. King Kong vs Godzilla you can hear every detail in the movie.

Basically my same review of the 4i's. I bought these for ceiling Atmos durround speakers. I was a little worried I wouldn't like them as I found a pretty negative review online. These definitely don't sound as good as my Motion 60i's but because these are really for special effects noises they are perfect. They definitely need to be crossed over at 80hz and you have to have a subwoofer with them. They also have a 1/4x20 lug in them as they are designed to be wall mounted. Worked perfect for our needs.

I bought all 7 for my surround system and the sound is excellent! Clarity is great and nice style. Same quality (probably even better) as Bose.

Small but handsome speakers. Best used for a desktop computer or as rear speakers for a home theater system. While their sound can fill a large room, they're not meant for loud delivery.

For their size, they sound like Larger rear speakers. This was a really good choice for my surroundsound rear speakers.

I was looking at Bose 650 but BB tech recommended MLs--never heard of them. Went online then heard them at the Magnolia store...I was sold instantly! I've been a Bose fan since my first set of used 301s in the 80s and worked my way up to the Acoustimass...All I can say is you do better if you know better!

I have these installed as rear channels in a 5.1.2 setup using a Marantz SR5013 receiver. For rear effects they produce a great soundstage and compliment the 4i’s extremely well. I wouldn’t recommend them for main channel’s as their limited dynamic range would have a hard time keeping up with more aggressive soundtracks like action movies or anything with heavy mid range.

These speakers sound great for their size. I wanted something small but able to fill a room. I found that in these speakers.
