The great Marty Robbins was country music's Renaissance man. He was a successful recording artist, stage performer, actor, author, songwriter, and stock car racer as well. Throughout his career, Robbins recorded country, western, pure honky-tonk, rockabilly, blues, Hawaiian music, calypso and gospel too. But overall he was a prime example of the singing cowboy style.
