The first PS5 game I played was Spider-Man: Miles Morales, right after launch. Though THAT game was a cross-gen title, the visuals were...well...amazing! Three years later, I picked up the sequel the day it launched. The visual difference between the two was incredible! I don't have the words to articulate how gorgeous this game looks, so I attached four screen captures taken directly from my playthrough. Now I know what you're going to say, "Look, we know the game looks great, but how does it PLAY? What about the STORY?" The game plays like a dream and takes advantage of the unique features offered by the DualSense controller. From the web-swinging, and wing suiting, to combat, the controls are fluid and responsive, More of New York is open to you this time with the addition of Brooklyn and Queens. Switching between Miles and Peter is instant. The story, however, is the best part. From the beginning, you're thrown into chaos and the game doesn't let up! You'll see plenty of old friends as well as new allies. Some previous villains make a return, but there are some new threats as well. There will be moments when this game will tug on your heartstrings, so beware. Finally, regarding replayability, let's just say that after beating the game at 100%, I'll be jumping back in at a higher difficulty.

Spider-Man 2 is a wonderful game. Fans of the first two entries in the series will not be dissapointed. In my opinion, it builds off of the combat and traversal in both Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales well, and both characters feel great to play as. My only complaint is that the gadget selection is limited compared to the first two, but each Spider-Man has unique abilities to make up for it. Story is solid, while not quite as good as the first games, it is a very gripping narrative, building on the arcs for both Peter and Miles from the previous games. Not hard to complete, either, most trophies are completed just throigh gameplay, only a few have to be sought out.

This game is amazing, especially for ppl who just got PS5. Stunning graphics, great storyline, very immersive gameplay. It was just perfection. Not only that, the game also teach the kids who play it many valuable life lessons and it may even inspire some kids to be an amazing adult.

This game is amazing! The pure joy of web swinging is unmatched. It looks ridiculous good, the added moves are sweet, sitting between the Spider-Man is an awesome feature, the story is great. I'm 10% in and it's already off of my favorite games ever

This is the greatest Spiderman game I've ever played!! The combat is extremely diverse in terms of abilities, enemy types, team up encounters, and boss fights. Spiderman 2 has a fantastic and fun story with Miles, Peter, MJ, and Venom as all playable characters. The web swinging is phenomenal and my favorite thing to do in the game!!!
