The first PS5 game I played was Spider-Man: Miles Morales, right after launch. Though THAT game was a cross-gen title, the visuals were...well...amazing! Three years later, I picked up the sequel the day it launched. The visual difference between the two was incredible! I don't have the words to articulate how gorgeous this game looks, so I attached four screen captures taken directly from my playthrough. Now I know what you're going to say, "Look, we know the game looks great, but how does it PLAY? What about the STORY?" The game plays like a dream and takes advantage of the unique features offered by the DualSense controller. From the web-swinging, and wing suiting, to combat, the controls are fluid and responsive, More of New York is open to you this time with the addition of Brooklyn and Queens. Switching between Miles and Peter is instant. The story, however, is the best part. From the beginning, you're thrown into chaos and the game doesn't let up! You'll see plenty of old friends as well as new allies. Some previous villains make a return, but there are some new threats as well. There will be moments when this game will tug on your heartstrings, so beware. Finally, regarding replayability, let's just say that after beating the game at 100%, I'll be jumping back in at a higher difficulty.

This game is amazing, especially for ppl who just got PS5. Stunning graphics, great storyline, very immersive gameplay. It was just perfection. Not only that, the game also teach the kids who play it many valuable life lessons and it may even inspire some kids to be an amazing adult.

Spider-Man 2 is a wonderful game. Fans of the first two entries in the series will not be dissapointed. In my opinion, it builds off of the combat and traversal in both Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales well, and both characters feel great to play as. My only complaint is that the gadget selection is limited compared to the first two, but each Spider-Man has unique abilities to make up for it. Story is solid, while not quite as good as the first games, it is a very gripping narrative, building on the arcs for both Peter and Miles from the previous games. Not hard to complete, either, most trophies are completed just throigh gameplay, only a few have to be sought out.

This game is amazing! The pure joy of web swinging is unmatched. It looks ridiculous good, the added moves are sweet, sitting between the Spider-Man is an awesome feature, the story is great. I'm 10% in and it's already off of my favorite games ever

This is the greatest Spiderman game I've ever played!! The combat is extremely diverse in terms of abilities, enemy types, team up encounters, and boss fights. Spiderman 2 has a fantastic and fun story with Miles, Peter, MJ, and Venom as all playable characters. The web swinging is phenomenal and my favorite thing to do in the game!!!

This game is one of my favorite games of the year. The graphics are superb. It runs smooth with occasionally a glitch here and there. Highly recommend this game for PS5 owners!!!!!

The game doubles the fun by allowing players to control both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Each Spider-Man comes with unique abilities—Peter wields symbiote powers, while Miles taps into his bio-electric Venom abilities. The combat system is fluid and dynamic, offering satisfying combos and creative ways to take down enemies. Traversal has also seen a significant upgrade with the addition of web wings, allowing for faster and more exhilarating travel through the massive open world.

I am a big fan of the first spiderman and miles morales games. Enjoyed the graphics and story line. It was fun also being able to switch characters! Definitely was not disappointed!

Great gameplay. Good story. Cool new mechanics. Tougher enemies. Feels like a comic book world. The costume choices available are top notch.

Had so much fun playing this game. Spider-Man is my absolute favorite and they capture his story perfectly in this game.

After over 350 hours of gameplay since 10/20/2023, this game is the pinnacle to feeling like Spider-Man. It's not THE game I thought Insomniac could deliver, but they got a lot of Spider-Man things right to bring together the most addictive Spider-Man game I've ever played (been playing Spidey game since Sega Genesis). If you love Spidey and want a Spider-Man experience, THIS game is where it's at.

Great sequel to a surprise hit 1st game. I am not normally into superheros, just feel they are played out at this point. The mobility when exploring and the quick, fluid combat won me over. Think of this game like a more floaty, flighty Arkham and you get the point. Story was serviceable. Big bad(s) were real bad. Miles is a dope evolution of boring old Pete. Another banger from Sony 1st party.

I had pre-ordered the game ,and got it the same day it released and words cannot describe this awesome video game! Definitely GOTY in my opinion! Already beaten in spectacular and Ultimate difficulty and story is just too great! For anybody else who reads this review definitely take my word and buy ASAP!

If you have a PS5, you need to play this. The game is absolutely addictive, the gameplay and the story are really goods. I think is one of the best games that you can play in your consol. Don't think it, just play it!

Gameplay was super good, liked it better than the first game, the combat and new mechanics are really satisfying and added more depth to an already great and satisfying combat system. But the story, while good, seemed a bit rushed, now I really like the first half of the story but the second or whatever the symbiote takeover part was, left a little more to be desired, I didn’t really like the new symbiote enemies and they felt a little repetitive. Other than that the game is really good in my opinion.
