Mary-Chapin Carpenter - Shooting Straight in the Dark - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Singer and songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter is emboldened on the follow-up to her debut album. She changes the pace with the rollicking InchToo Tired,Inch too defeated by love to even attempt to resist it. Tearjerker InchGoodbye AgainInch depicts a woman alone. Chapin Carpenter has seen what love can do, and she depicts it unflinchingly.

Country music musician Mary Chapin Carpenter shows off her songwriting chops with a soft, introspective album about home and the life she's led thus far. On InchA Lot Like MeInch and InchHometown GirlInch she looks inward; despite once finding small-town life stifling, she now longs for it, reminiscing about the girl she once was.
