Vinyl LP pressing. It was obvious from the first riff on the first song from their very first album Mass Worship were born fully-fledged, utterly unique and magnificently destructive. Emerging from Scandinavian shadows like an unstoppable, shape-shifting bulldozer, they have swiftly become one of the most praised and talked-about bands in the metal underground. Despite spending a big part of 2020-2021 locked inside, writing and recording new material, Mass Worship did complete a highly successful tour in support of Polish death metal legends Vader. Meanwhile, the group is primed and ready to unleash their second full-length assault. Portal Tombs is a terrifying but electrifying exploration of the gloomy depths of human nature a monolithic manifestation of the musical force that is Mass Worship. Drawing inspiration from bands such as At The Gates, Mastodon and Meshuggah, Mass Worship could be likened to many bands, but somehow forge their musical identity into something exceptionally distinctive and transcendent, and with enough confidence and conviction to win over even the most orthodox fans of the genre.

Carnal Tomb from Germany's chaotic and vibrant capital city Berlin deliver their eagerly awaited third album, which is entitled InchEmbalmed in DecayInch and perfectly channels the spirit of old school death metal. Slightly shorter tracks, fast forward blast beats, and their characteristic doom-driven passages all add up to a contemporary version of classic death metal that will cement the German's status as one of the hottest young acts of this most brutal genre. Carnal Tomb took inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft as well as gore and zombie movies such as Amando de Ossorio's 1972 genre classic InchTombs of the Blind DeadInch, and old Italian funeral places called 'putridarium', in which the corpses of the deceased were left to rot. These themes have also inspired the morbid cover artwork of InchEmbalmed in DecayInch by the artist Skavaldur. Carnal Tomb were formed in Berlin in 2014 out of a hunger for old school death metal that possessed all band members. Besides a remarkable number of demo recordings, EPs, split and single releases, their two full-lengths InchRotten RemainsInch (2016) and InchAbhorrent VenerationInch (2019) earned the band an excellent reputation in death metal circles around the globe. With the putrid death metal horror of InchEmbalmed in DecayInch, Carnal Tomb raise the blind dead from their tombs and unleash these monsters and other brutal evils upon an unsuspecting world.
