I grew up on Matlock watching it every afternoon on TBS. The first season has a number of great episodes including two of my favorites "The Sisters" and "The Judge." I enjoy reliving those memories and for the low price it's well worth it. Hoping to get the rest of the series in the near future.

It all starts here. Your introduction to Ben Matlock. One of Atlanta's top Defense lawyers, he always discovers something, getting his client off at the last second. Not needing to prove innocence, often, he provides just enough for the jury to have reasonable doubt.

Matlock is the television version of comfort food. I love to watch an episode at the end of a tough day. Andy Griffith's portrayal is charmingly quirky and sufficient plot twists to keep it interesting. Good quality discs at a reasonable price. Andy, we miss you.

I love this DVD set, and the fact that I got it on sale is even better. Bad thing is there aren't a lot of extras, but watching this DVD set is like watching all of the TV episodes again minus the commercials (you can tell where the commercials would have gone because of where it fades to black).
