About this product
Singer/songwriter, violinist, and producer hunter Maya Killtron releases her sophomore album, Persimmon. A mix of modern boogie, funk, string quartet and yacht rock, the record is a definitive coming-of-a-certain-age for the Toronto native. The eclectic feel-good record came as a result of our collective pandemic upheaval. Killtron keeps to her modern boogie roots with InchNight MovesInch-a glossy roller-worthy track made with long time collaborator Gil Masuda of Toronto's Love Touch Records. She simultaneously evolves and returns to her roots as a classically trained violinist and arranger in her self produced track, Persimmon, which features her string quartet, Bowed Arts. Rounding out the record is InchGuaranteed,Inch a co-produced track with UK's -440 and also her tribute to InchReading RainbowInch through the lens of Ryan Farley's Phil Collins-esque production in Del Rey. With Persimmon, Maya is solidifying her place as an established voice in modern boogie while breaking into new mainstream markets worldwide.

The second single from Love Touch Records is back with a repress! InchFound YouInch became an instant hit with funk and boogie DJs worldwide when the tag launched in late 2019. The limited run of 300 copies sold fast, with it's only form of advertising through Love Touch's Instagram account. Maya's strong vocal harmonies over a killer 80s synth groove make this track hard to dismiss. Her signature string arrangements and a token sax solo take this track to the next level! Album Tracks 1. Found You 2. Found You (Instrumental)

2022 . Maggie Belle emerged on the music scene in 2013 in New Orleans, gaining inspiration from Rhythm & Blues, Soul, and Pop, creating a unique sound all her own. Maggie Belle has made appearances at New Orleans' very own Jazz & Heritage Festival and Bayou Boogaloo, Texas' River Revival Festival, as well as San Jose's Summer Jazz Festival. The album was produced by Eric Heigle (Arcade Fire, Colin Lake, Dumpstaphunk).
Vinyl LP pressing. Mood Swings is the 2024 album from South Carolina native, Marcus King, the GRAMMY-nominated artist, performer, guitarist and songwriter. Produced by Rick Rubin at his famous Shangri-La studios in Malibu. The music here is deeply personal, driven by King's emotive vocals as much his revered guitar work, and whilst the subjects dealt with are often raw in nature (heartache, addiction, mental health), there's always a sense of hope in the power of the voice.
