Q: Does this washer have automatic dual compartment dispensers for bleach, softener, detergent etc.?
A: Hello! This model MTW4205SW, does not have a compartment area. There is an area at the front of the washer when you open the lid to place the bleach. The fabric softener would go in the middle on the agitator and the detergent would be placed in the basket. Thank you for your inquiry about our Maytag® appliances.

A: Hello! You can pause the washer to unlock the lid. You would press the Start button and let the cycle come to a complete stop. Do not press and hold, as this will cancel the cycle. BIG for a little machine
Needing one of the smaller machine's I foud this perfect sized Maytag. The brand I always prefer. the last oe lasting 26 years! Easy to find the correct size at Best Buy. It is amazigly large inside and has a lovely dial panel that lights up as it goes through the cycles. It was however noiser than I expected. Still did an effecient job. Happy with it.

Works well but very loud
Purchased this after an almost 10 year Maytag washer had to be replaced. The 10 year warranty does not apply to labor costs & doesn’t include all parts. The washer has an agitator and works very well. The quick wash cycle is what I use the most. The sheets still get twisted on bulky wash but I think that is with most washers. My only complaint is that it is VERY load. Loud clicks and loud while filling up. Average to loud while spinning. If noise is not important then this washer is a good choice. The price was fair in today’s market. Our previous Maytag was much quieter but was a more expensive model. This review does not support videos
