• Hello! This model MTW4205SW, does not have a compartment area. There is an area at the front of the washer when you open the lid to place the bleach. The fabric softener would go in the middle on the agitator and the detergent would be placed in the basket. Thank you for your inquiry about our Maytag® appliances.
