Q: Does this dryer have an interior light in the drum?
A: No it does not have an interior light. I never thought to check that when I purchased my machines 2 months ago. I wish I would have because the light comes in handy. Aside from that, I love everything else about this washer/dryer set.
A: You require stacking kit model # W10869845 for your project.
A: No. The web site does say this, but there is no water hook up, therefore no steam.
A: Hi Jen, depending on your installation location, but you will generally need about 5" of depth for the venting in addition to the depth of the dryer. For a closet installation, this is very critical. Here is a link to the Installation Instructions for you, see page 5 for the machine dimensions and Location Requirements. Q: Can you switch the door so it opens the other way?
A: Yes, the door can be reversed to the other side.

Q: Where is the lint filter on this model? Is it on top and you pull it out or inside the unit?

Great Purchase!! Perfect for Large Families!!

Efficient Maytag
I Love my Maytag Dryer model(MED5630HW). Its very energy efficient and runs very quiet and leaves no wrinkles on my clothes. I would recommend anyone looking to Purchase a New Dryer to have a look at this one while your looking, you will not regret it.

Great washer
This washer is great you can put a King size blanket in it and it washes it great . Has a convenient drawer to put detergent, bleach etc . It has a cleaning cycle which you must buy a cleaner once every like 6 weeks . A little loud when spinning but lots of features. I’ve had 8 months now wonderful machine.
