McFarlane Toys - DC Multiverse 7in - Batman Earth-2 (Earth 2 Society) - COLLECTIBLES - Multicolor

The sequel to "Batman" pits the caped crusader against his most fiendish opponents yet: the evil Penguin and the sinuous and mysterious Catwoman".

In the 1980’s, Todd McFarlane began drawing Batman professionally, working on the classic storyline “Batman: Year Two™” in Detective Comics, and creating iconic artwork, including his dynamic cover for Batman #423. Todd went on to become a titan of the comic book industry, but has always had an affinity for Batman, stating, “I’ve always liked the fact that Batman has no superpowers. When it comes down to it, he's just a dude in a costume. Conceivably, if you pushed him off a roof (Batarangs, etc. aside), he could potentially die, unlike Superman.”

This thrilling crime drama follows Oswald “Oz” Cobb’s quest for control in Gotham City. With the city in peril following the seawall’s collapse, Oz seeks to fill the power vacuum left by the death of Carmine Falcone and finally give his mother Francis the life he’s always promised. But first, Oz must confront his enemies, including Carmine’s children, Sofia Falcone and Alberto Falcone; the Maroni family, led by their imprisoned patriarch, Salvatore Maroni; and Oz’s own demoralizing reputation as “the Penguin.”
