Means of Production - The Means Of Production - VINYL LP

BEYRIES' first ever album, including InchSonInch and InchThe Pursuit of HappinessInch.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2016 from the Stockholm-based band. Factory Brains has - in spite of their young age – already played over 100 concerts that have taken the band from the youth recreation centers, via blues festivals in small city Ängelsberg, to Stockholm for a gig with Graveyard, on to Gotheburg for an evening with Daniel Norgren and finally on tour as supporting act to Rival Sons - a Rival Sons who specifically requested the band as supporting act. Factory Brains was founded in 2010 and created a reputation of being one of Sweden´s most interesting rock bands. For three 17 year old guys - who thought they´d signed off on guaranteed fame and success – being dropped from a major tag could have been the beginning of the end for the band. But instead of being disheartened the band called Janne Hansson and booked a session in Atlantis Studios to be able to start working on their second album Hard Labor. In order to perfect the recording with something a little extra they brought in Martin Hederos (TSOOL) and Henrik Wind to play keyboards and Chips Kiesbye (The Hellacopters, Michael Monroe, Millencollin) was called to produce all vocals. After finishing the recording the task of mixing a mastering was assigned to - in that regard a somewhat odd choice - Jens Borggren (Opeth/Paradise Lost). Choosing Jens to complete this task is something the band definitely don´t regret which the audience will be aware of when listening through Hard Labor. Album Tracks 1. I'm No Good 2. Down the River 3. Coffee Break 4. Modern Day 5. Now I Know 6. Friends Are Friends 7. Fork in the Road 8. Arty Minds 9. Machinery 10. Do It Again 11. Awful Place to Be

Originally released digitally as two separate volumes in 2022, Wonderwheel is happy to present a 12Inch of Populous' InchMoonbahtonsInch - a collection of dark reggaeton and moonbahton style dance floor tracks influenced by the magic & mystery of the zodiac. Cuts inspired by the zodiac, magic, and mystery of the universe. Things kick off with InchFlauta Magica,Inch focusing around the clave and a brooding synth line and a dembow style beat interweaving itself with the flute & a little bit of acid vibes for good measure, while InchSapo,Inch a distant, foreboding track with a monster of a beat & bassline complimenting a childlike fairy tale melody on top. On the flip, InchGlass DubplateInch is a percussive track with emotive pads, a melody reminiscent of finger piano and synth bleeps, while InchBerlinese DubplateInch goes into tougher, late night territory with deep bass, roiling percussion and dubby electronics. Album Tracks 1. Flauta Magica 2. Sapo 3. Glass Dubplate 4. Berlinese Dubplate
