Meernaa - So Far So Good - VINYL LP

Meernaa's So Far So Good travels perfectly with a glistening night out or a drive to a secret hideaway. It exists somewhere between R&B, jazz, psychedelic rock, art rock, and pop. As a genreless artist, it mirrors her constant struggle to balance a vibrant day to day of falling in and out of love, writing and recording music at her studio and the intensity in the back of her mind - her familial struggles concerning death, drugs, and instability. Meernaa's previously released singles InchAnother DimensionInch and InchOn My Line' introduce a celestial and soulful album. The weather of these songs is varied, the poetry shifting it's winds from tender playfulness to desire. Amelia Maher of The Line of Best Fit called Bond's imagination Inchas intriguing as it is beguiling and mysterious.Inch Part of a blooming Los Angeles music scene, Carly Bond is a studio engineer and partner at Altamira Sound studios. As a session and touring guitarist she's worked with artists such as Luke Temple, Jerry Paper, Helado Negro, Sam Evian, John Vanderslice, Nilüfer Yanya, Benny Bock, and Miya Folick. Doug of Brijean is in her band, and she's playing SXSW 2023 as a breakout artist. Album Tracks 1. On My Line 2. Another Dimension 3. As Many Birds Flying 4. Mirror Heart 5. Black Eyed Susan 6. 2023 . Nashville rockers Country Westerns return with their sophomore album, Forgive The City. Marking the band's second full-length for Fat Possum, this barn-burning collection is also their second to be helmed by famed producer Matt Sweeney (who even contributes his lead guitar stylings to a few tracks). The album is heralded by the sinewy, melodic new track InchIt's A Livin',Inch which is out now via all DSPs and is once again is accompanied by an official music video directed by Miranda Zipse (Miranda and the Beat). InchIt's a Livin' is the last song I wrote for our new album. It's meant to be a tribute to musicians and travelers who are waiting for the road to open. And also a promotion of forgiveness in general,Inch says vocalist and guitarist Joseph Plunket. InchIt's about the last go around and wondering what's left out there. An encouragement to those who have to push through and keep moving and also an acknowledgement of a time to lay it down. It has pretty obvious vibes of a pandemic spent in Nashville and the actual lyrics are less pretentious than this description. I wrote it on my Danelectro 10-string which gives it a cool aggressive jangle.Inch Because no eagerly-awaited album would be complete without shows all across the nation, Country Westerns will head back out on the road for a second time with the kindred spirits in indie rock heroes Titus Andronicus. See below for the full list of upcoming Country Westerns performances. Album Tracks 1. Knucklen 2. Speaking Ill of the Blues 3. Grapefruit 4. Money on the Table 5. Wait for It 6. Country Westerns 7.
