This is my first sous-vide and my first use was to make Thanksgiving turkey. From a you-tube video, my expectation was to cook the turkey in soys-vide water bath to get moist and tender meat, then crisp the skin in the oven. Directions were clear, set up was easy, and the result was the best turkey I’ve ever had! (And I’m not a youngster…) I only gave it 5 stars because the touch control was finicky. The timer function works as expected but I had to work to get the temperature function to respond. Overall, this was a good buy at a reasonable price.
