About this product
From 1968 and out of print on CD since 1995, the ultra-rare psychedelic masterpiece originally released on the Shamley (Uni) tag in 1968. This was the second album released by Merrell Fankhauser, the earlier being Farpardokly which will be released by Gear Fab Records in January, 2017. This album is awash in stoned vocals, walls of sitar, thick fuzz tones and is best described as acid folk-rock. It has been linked to Buffalo Springfield, Spirit, the Byrds, and Cream. Fankhauser made other more excellent and obscure recordings in the late '60s/early 70s with Farpardokly and Mu. With the bonus track, this is the all-inclusive collection of the band's recordings for Shamley. Album Tracks 1. Things (Goin' Round in My Mind) 2. Girl (I'm Waiting for You) 3. What Does She See in You 4. Lost in the City 5. Your Painted Lives 6. Drivin' Sideways (On a One Way Street) 7. In a Minute Not Too Soon 8. A Visit with Ashiya 9. The Big Gray Sky 10. Rich Man's Fable 11. Ice Cube Island 12. Madame Silky 13. I'm Flying Home

Lost, way out sound from San Francisco's Mojo Men! There Goes My Mind finds The Mojo Men in full control of their high-wire blend of boy-girl vocals. They had regional, British Invasion-style hits in 1965-66, and even hit national top 40 in 1967! Abetted principally by sparkling keyboard wizardry, winsome vocals, and lavish guitars, this is your ticket to one of West Coast's best psychedelic garage bands. CD Album Tracks 1.
