About this product
It sounds like METEMPSYCHOSIS, which later became MOURNFUL, had quite an interesting journey and evolution as a band. Starting in Tyresö outside of Stockholm in 1992, the band was a collaboration between Toni Kocmut, Dennis Ekdahl, and the brothers Marco and Joy Deb. Their early work, including the demo recorded at Sheep Valley Studios, set the stage for their evolving sound and identity. After the transition to the name MOURNFUL and the of another demo, the band eventually split, leading the members to pursue different paths in the music industry. Dennis Ekdahl and Toni Kocmut moved on to join SINS OF OMISSION, while the Deb brothers shifted focus to music production and songwriting. This led to varied and successful careers for the members, particularly Joy Deb, who went on to co-write the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest-winning song InchHeroes.Inch The re-recording of METEMPSYCHOSIS tracks as a surprise for Dennis' bachelor party is a touching tribute to their beginnings, capturing the essence of their early work and their passion for metal. The decision to these recordings as a homage to new and struggling metal bands worldwide is a meaningful way to honor their roots and give back to the community that supported them. This not only commemorates the band's history but also serves as an inspiration for upcoming musicians, showing how the journey from a small band to influential careers in the music industry can unfold. Album Tracks 1. Insane 2. Kingdom of the Dead 3. This World 4. Insane (Demo) 5. Kingdom of the Dead (Demo) 6. This World (Demo)

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. UK trio Demob Happy return with their 3rd album, Divine Machines. The cornerstone influences - a sprinkle of Queens of the Stone Age swagger; a splash of glam; a Lennon-like knack for melody - remain present, but utilized in ways that rely wholly on Matthew Marcantonio, Adam Godfrey and Thomas Armstrong's specific magic as a unit one that values a Inchjanky guitar soloInch as much as it does a beautifully crafted love song. Album Tracks 1. Token Appreciation Society 2. Voodoo Science 3. Earth Mover 4. Tear It Down 5. Musuclar Reflex 6. Super-Fluid 7. She's As Happy As a Man Can Be 8. Run Baby Run 9. I Have a Problem (I Ignore) 10. Divine Machines 11. Hades, Baby

Invocation of the Dreamer 2. Corpsebloom Garden 3. Grief's Reverie 4. Beneath the Scythe 5. Gilded Chambers 6. Tomb of Roses 7. Carrion King 8. Benediction Tones
Metempsychosis is defined by the transmigration of the soul after death from one body to another, whether human or animal. Bliss of Flesh's new opus addresses metempsychosis through the observation of an individual who helplessly witnesses their physical decline through the deterioration of their five senses. This decline inexorably plunges the individual into a feverish emotional state that leads them on an introspective journey through the various stages of loss and grief. Each loss engenders a new perception and apprehension of the future. Rediscovering this altered body and a world that becomes hellish. A mixture of fears and expectations where the life they know is nothing but eternal renewal, leading them to death, a portal to a new, each time more destitute and altered. Glory or damnation, chaos then becomes their new realm. Album Tracks 1. A Loss 2. I Deny 3. Sacrifice 4. If Only 5. Verdammt 6. The Awakening 7. Adieu 8. Metempsychosis 9. Martyr
