A: Easiest thing to do, is call first. See if the Best Buy car stereo installers have the part. The professionally install it. Best experience ever. They were great. I had them perfectly match a stereo kit in my Nissan Exterra, very similar to your Frontier interior.

Q: I am looking to upgrade my stereo system for my 2012 Nissan Frontier. I am would like a touch screen display screen, however I am not sure whether this can happen. Buying this frame, is it possible I can get the new screen after? My exact consol is below.

A: Yes, buy this and then get your reveiver display screen (at same time). Mine was 6.8". I would consult with s best buy rep though, because if youre DIYing, youll also need stereo conne tor, antenna adapter and wiring harness (sold separately) for your 2012 frontier, I recommend putting in a reverse camera such as "metra - license plate back up camera" and maybe a sirius receiver

    Not good

    Fit was terrible and installer agreed. I found another brand called Scosche and the job was finished and looked great. Also the Scosche kit was $30 cheaper. One photo is with the Best Buy recommended kit and the nice photo is with the Scosche kit

    Amazing. Looks like This is stock equipment only updated 15 years. Very impressed with the installation and trim package.

    The dash kit makes it easy to install a double DIN

    The kit worked well and fit perfectly. For a double DIN, it requred the removal of a plastic divider but it was easy to cut. Otherwise, it was a matter of removing the old surround and replacing it with the new surround.
