Fit was terrible and installer agreed. I found another brand called Scosche and the job was finished and looked great. Also the Scosche kit was $30 cheaper. One photo is with the Best Buy recommended kit and the nice photo is with the Scosche kit

The kit worked well and fit perfectly. For a double DIN, it requred the removal of a plastic divider but it was easy to cut. Otherwise, it was a matter of removing the old surround and replacing it with the new surround.

Amazing. Looks like This is stock equipment only updated 15 years. Very impressed with the installation and trim package.

Quality is okay, but it'd be nice if it looked more like original. Fits right, and everything looks like it belongs except compartment under stereo face.

This radio mount kit was made perfect for my 2010 Nissan frontier truck. I looks great. there are no gaps or bad fitting parts. It looks like it was factory made by Nissan.

I didn't have to do much with this, since Geek Squad installed it for me. It looks like it belongs in my dash though, and it's secure, so no complaints!

Pros Looks OEM. Had I not installed, I would have figured it came factory. The dash kit looks good in the car after installation, but the factory dash kit had three screws to secure the assembly to the dash, while this kit only has one. Rather than securing the brackets that hold the stereo to the dash like the OEM, the stereo mounts to plastic rails that you press into grooves on the kit during install. This leaves the stereo and its mounting rails to hang off the kit with no other bracing. The kit also comes built for two single din components and you have to cut the kit to mount a double din component. The instructions show an example of using a utility knife, but wire cutters ended up being far safer. The trim that borders the double din and stereo, once mounted, clips loosely into the kit and rattles intermittently. That said, the fit and finish match the OEM tray above it on the dash and all of the environmental control components, but the texture is different from the pattern on the OEM dash kit. Even then, it looks good after installation, which is why I rated it as Average. It looks good and is working for my stereo, but heavier head units may have issues and the trim may need adhesive or something else to prevent rattling. I would recommend a friend research alternatives, but barring better choices, work around the issues like I'm doing.

I was convinced (despite my gut feeling) by the Best Buy salesman that the grey color would match my interior/dash color. When it showed up and I had it installed, the technician immediately came to me and told me the color didn't match. Go figure? Anyway, I needed the radio installed and went with it. It looked okay, however one of the vehicles air controls was pinched by the kit and I was unable to deselect (Defrost) once selected. The kit required shaving before it fit adequately. However, I ordered the correct color kit and had it installed satisfactorily at a later date with no issue on fit or color.

This stereo installation kit was necessary to tie/integrate my new Pioneer car audio head unit. The Best Buy installation and the installers were top notch and highly recommended.

The Sony Apple-Play device was installed expertly by the Geek Squad into my daughter’s 2009 pickup! I love that she is now fully bluetooth and hands free. Much safer!
