For the first time ever available in record stores, the redesignrecalls the mysterious, multi-layered sound of Flashy Python'sSkin And Bones. The hidden covers revealed by die-cut andsemi-transparency as well as translucent rouge vinyl paytribute to the haunting yet playful spirit of an album that could(and should) have been another CYHSY record. The limited deluxe reissue is being released in the wake of the20th anniversary of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the classic selftitled debut album, and it's celebratory 2025 worldwide tour.InchPhilly indie luminaries/friends (members of Dr. Dog, Mazarin, theWalkmen, and Man Man appear) to collaborate on a wheezy, dark songcycle-cum-inebriated stumble down South StreetInch PitchforkInchIf I want to do something with a particular group of people, I will,Inch AlecOunsworth said in 2008. This project saw him build a barn studio behindhis house and work with friends like Matt Barrick (The Walkmen), ScottMcMicken, Toby Leaman (Dr. Dog), Quentin Stoltzfus (Mazarin), and BillyDufala (Man Man). Skin & Bones emerged as a louche, loose album awoozy blend of barroom rock 'n' roll, trippy desert blues, and Beatlesesque melodies. Wurlitzer and Hammond organ weave throughout, alongside jagged guitars, pedal steel, and saxophone. Barrelling drumsand Ounsworth's idiosyncratic delivery tie it together. InchAmid creativeuncertainty, I tried to offset personal darkness with an upbeat album.Flashy Python reflects that messiness a 'catchy' name for a ship lost inforeboding confusion.Inch

Works that pay homage to spring have been brought together by Malwina Sosnowski (violin) and Benyamin Nuss (piano) on their new GENUIN album departure, a new beginning, an exuberance of emotions. On it, the perspective shifts between Japan and Europe. Beethoven's euphoric InchSpring SonataInch is juxtaposed with rarely performed French repertoire by Germaine Tailleferre and Lili Boulanger, as well as a world premiere recording by Masashi Hamauzu and an elegy dedicated to the victims of Fukushima by Benyamin Nuss himself. The interpretative verve and freshness of the two internationally successful musicians match the richness of color and nuance found in the selected music.
