I just bought this laptop back on May, I bought it because mine stopped working, I was trying to buy a different brand but the associate that helped me recommended this one to me. I've enjoyed using it, it easy to use, fast, smart and super light, it has face recognition so its faster when unlock, I would def recommend it for students since that’s what I’m using it for. And I love the material, the base panel it so soft. the battery last a long time and it charges fast, the speaker is in the back very clear sound. I just love it! 10/10

My daughter and I headed off to our local Best Buy in Bloomington to purchase a new laptop for her unexpected change to online school from in person. With the nightmares of the previous years of broken down chromebooks still lingering, we opted to purchase our own laptop and pass on the ‘free’ school supplies Chromebook. With being last minute, I didn’t have time to research what the best model would be for her and a good value. Expecting to sign up to donate my kidneys and left arm to pay for it, I was pleasantly surprised when an employee walked up and asked if he could be of assistance to us. Within 10 minutes we had an amazing, top of the line laptop, all the extra’s she needed like a laptop sleeve, office package and such and spent around $300! See the employee’s know what ‘open box’ stock they have- what’s good and what isn’t so good, so get a good one and be nice and you will reap the rewards! We were thrilled with our purchase and even better is we were out of the store within 15 minutes! Yes an open box might be a discontinued model or one that someone decided to bring back, but for most, they are just as good as the brand new ones at less than 1/2 the cost. Ours was 70% off simply for being last years model. After 1.5 years of teenager abuse, it is still working just as good as it was on day 1. No problems at all! Still charges and holds a charge all day and is invaluable with all the headaches & money I’m saving not having a school issued Chromebook!

This suface laptop 5 is an excellent laptop, especially for those on the run. The body is made of nice aluminum that feels great with gently textured keyboard. It definitely looks great externally and internally. The display itself is very crisp and gorgeous. Watching HD videos is very pleasant. Did I mention it's very lightweight? While it does have a proprietary charger port, it can be charged via USBC port also. There is one USBC and one USBA port. I wish it had another USBC port for expansion. The memory can't be upgraded but nvme SSD driver can be upgraded. I just upgraded mine to 2TB, works just fine. Be sure to use a cloning software. Overall an excellent laptop.

I love my surface! I used to have the smaller version but needed a bit larger of a screen so I got this one and I love it. Nice and lightweight and holds a charge for a good amount of time.
