A: Biggest difference is in the storage. Studio 1 has a hybrid hard drive composed of a traditional rotating hard drive and a small solid state drive. Studio 2 has at least a 1 TB SSD and no rotating hard drive. 7th generation CPUs vs 6th generation on Studio 1. Better graphics. USB C port on studio 2.

A: Absolutely. It has a USB-C port that can easily add a monitor. I found that to be the easiest solution. Dell and HP make a quality 27” USB-C ultra sharp monitors - I use the Dell to add a second monitor.
