[Employee of bestbuy] Right out of the box the controller connected INSTANTLY to the wirless receiver when plugged into my Windows 11 Gaming PC, and the bluetooth was simple to connect via Andriod device. So far, it works as intended, no complaints from me. So glad microsoft made a unit that was specifically designed to connect wirelessy to Windows without having to worry about the bluetooth cutting out, because I know I myself included amongst others who had that issue and couldnt play without the cable, this is a game changer!

I honestly bought this bundle for the dongle alone, I already owned 4 Xbox controllers. Sold the controller and got the dongle cheaper this way over just buying it alone, which yeah, seems like a lot of extra steps but finding the dongle alone was odd. Either overpriced or just not available at the time of searching. Anyways it's not mentioned AFAIK, but it did include a month of gamepass ultimate and a usb extender that measures about a meter, which is extremely handy. Bluetooth still isn't all that great for windows. There was a weird bug where games would stutter if the battery was low on the controller. The connection wasn't always reliable. Anyways, the dongle works wonders and I have no issues playing games when I don't want to use a keyboard and mouse. Sometimes pairing controllers is finicky and takes a few tries, but if the controller is only for your pc it's not a big deal. Pair once and that's it.

Well this is my fourth or fifth Xbox wireless controller and I love this one just as the very first one. The color scheme is perfect and the feel of the controller all around. This controller has a smooth texture and the joystick rubbers seem more durable the previous controllers. While using this with my gaming CPU system, it doesn't feel uncomfortable and my hands seem to rarely get tired but maybe that's just me. I will buy another one, once this one goes bad. Until then, its game on.

Great controller combo. The USB adapter makes for seamless gaming on PC. When you start your controller, it automatically connects to the PC and can be started mid game. Works great on Xbox too of course.

Purchased for my freshly built PC. Unable to buy a Series X, I built a new PC and to complete the feel of having a new system. I purchased this, the brand new Series X controller with Windows adapter. Works and installed as it should! Plugged in adapter, let it install itself and it’s drivers, I also plugged the controller into my old Xbox and updated the controller itself. I pressed the sync button on the adapter and controller and boom, it was ready to play! The new features to the controller is just what it needed. The textured grips on the palm grips and triggers/bumpers are amazingly satisfying. The new d-pad is fantastic and the click is also just super satisfying.

I had an issue where online it said there were a few in stock, but once I got to the store there were none to be found. The employee went to check the backstock but the response of "oh, the system has it wrong, they were probably stolen during the holidays" just felt there was no care for Best Buy's stock or my time spent shopping. I ended up just ordering it online and picked it up a few days later once it arrived. The device is GREAT, but I wish the online stock was more accurate so I don't waste my time. About the product, this is specifically for gaming on pc (steam) and if your bluetooth option is inconsistent. Make sure to press the button at the end of the usb dongle to pair (took me quite some time to figure this out and the physical instructions don't make this step obvious enough).

Price was great, got it on sale. Love the ease of use and set up.

S tier purchase, being able to use the built in DAC on the controller wirelessly is huge. also comes with a USB A male to female adapter cable as well which is nice. dongle comes with a little plastic cover which is unfortuantly not captive and will get lost instantly, but its the best solution to a problem you dont probably have

Sure, there are any number of unofficial Xbox controllers. But there's something that feels just right about the official. It's the simple default black one, and it gets the job done. I'm not used to using keyboard and mouse yet for PC gaming, and the wireless adapter makes for a painless connection experience.

This is a great controller for PC. I was having a problem with my other controller connecting to Bluetooth, but this one with the dongle works perfectly. If you are looking for a Xbox controller for the PC, get this one for sure.

As always, a great controller. I really like the simple textured grip on the back of the handles. Zero connection issues. I’m pretty rough on the sticks and buttons… I press really hard on the buttons and sticks and I grip the controller really hard a lot. That being said, these controllers last quite awhile before the sticks go bad. The controller will last even longer if you have a more relaxed grip. ALL IN ALL, I know if I buy this controller, I won’t have any issues. These are the only controllers I use. I hope this helps anybody that is second-guessing this purchase.

I purchased the Xbox controller for my PC and so far I have not had but one small problem upon installing the batteries. At first, it would not power on and I think it was probably because the batteries were not getting a good connection. But after I fooled with It a bit it did finally power on. So with that, I am very well pleased.

Great controller for wireless playing. I have not had any issues till this day.

Purchased on sale for $40 . My last one the LB broke. It should have lasted longer since I’m a casual gamer

It does exactly what it's made for, works great with the usb adapter for pc over bluetooth.

Thought i was getting a new controller, turns out they gave me one that was opened. Had a monch of stuff all over the controller, Box took a beating im guessing through shipping (cable was already untied) peobably the first and last controller i buy from here.

Didn’t even last a year. First stopped connecting wirelessly and now the buttons and d-pad don’t work. It was perfectly fine yesterday, I pick it up today and it doesn’t work.
