“Good enough for they’re for…”
My wife and I used these to travel from Dallas, TX to Sacremento, Ca. We went through literally every type of landscape. Mountains to Deserts. We were always able to keep in touch. Some chatter came through from truckers but whatever… My only complaint is the battery life isn’t that good as we would have to recharge them daily even after minimum use. I would definitely upgrade for a survival scenario but they worked for what we needed. I’ll probably give them to the kids to play with.

I like them
Batteries last a long time on one charge. But the range is just nowhere close to what I expected. Couldnt hear my wife when she was at post office 3 miles away when I was inside my home office. Still they work well in the house and around the neighborhood.

What are the dimensions of the radios?
One radio is about 6inches long (including the fixed antenna) and with the belt clip about 1 1/2 inches wide. So, a pretty compact unit!

If i buy 3 packs (24 walkies total), are they all able to communicate with one another? If so, how difficult is the programming for this?
Midland FRS/GMRS are compatible with each other and the programming is fairly simple. These radios are not compatible with CBs or the BizTalk series of radios.

If I purchase 2 eight radios pack, are the radios pairable each other?? I'm trying to comunnicate all the 16 units with each other in a close space.
Yes. I was able to pair these with two other sets that a friend of mine had. Same brand but different models. Not sure if they would work with different brands.
