Miles Davis Quintet - The Complete Studio Recordings 1965-1968 is a 6-CD box set originally released by Columbia Records in 1998. It compiles the complete studio recordings of Miles Davis' legendary InchSecond Great Quintet,Inch which featured Miles Davis on trumpet, Wayne Shorter on tenor-saxophone, Herbie Hancock on piano, Ron Carter on bass, and Tony Williams on drums. This quintet is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential jazz groups in history, pushing the boundaries of post-bop into free, more experimental territory.
