Milford / Plane / Gould / Cooper / Adams / Neary - Chamber Music - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Lennox Berkeley amassed over 100 works and contributed to almost every genre.

Engineered by Zach Anderson, of the American/Swedish band Blues Pills, Jesper Lindell's enticing debut album 'Everyday Dreams' is a clever mixture of rock, folk, blues and soul, performed by a 26 year old musician in love with classic pop, Stax-Volt R&B, and that old time rock & roll. Hailing from a small town near Stockholm in Sweden, and gifted with an amazing soulful voice, guitarist/pianist/songwriter Jesper Lindell delivers an intimate album that could have been recorded in the late sixties. This is modern classic rock music, and hearts full of soul will fall in love.

World premiere recordings are brought together on this new GENUIN album featuring works by the composer Christian Ridil Renowned musicians from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, among others, play in formations ranging from brass quintet to flute and percussion to the exquisite combination of (chromatic) harmonica and harpsichord. The works of the Goethe University Frankfurt's former university music director are characterized by stylistic diversity, wit, charm, and virtuosity and yet bear Ridil's clear signature. Absolutely worth discovering!
